More than 60 performers (!) who live or work in Guilford will be on porches across downtown Guilford on Saturday, October 3, from 11 am to 5 pm! Folk, indie, jazz, rock, Americana, classical, kids, bluegrass, pop…you name it, we got it! Learn a little more about each, below…and take the time to have a listen!!

Founded in Hartford in 1971, Max Creek, featuring Guilford’s own Bill Carbone since 2012, has been making music, building community, and keeping crowds coming back for more, for more than 55 years. Blending rock, country, blues, jazz and improvisation, the legendary New England jam band has built a devoted following across generations.

Red Planet

The Red Planet does a straight-up, no-nonsense jam that covers a variety of classic tunes from The Dead, Dylan, and The Band to Johnny Cash and other roots-based, country-fied, Americana-type, standards. Their laid-back, sittin’-on-the front porch, let’s-have-fun attitude gives way to tightly worked out performances, rich with interwoven instrumental unity, guitar pyrotechnics, vocal harmony, group dynamics, and flat-out enthusiasm—all delivered with a genuine working-for-the people, non-showbiz kinda presence. It’s hard not to have a good old time, hangin’ out when they do their thing.
Lila & Dad

Lila and Dad are a family musical duo from Guilford playing a mix of original songs and covers spanning a variety of genres and time periods. Playing a set that is “semi-unplugged” with an acoustic guitar and electric bass, but encouraging everyone watching to sing and clap along so it’s a performance made by the audience too.

Frank Yantorno
A Mix of Rock, Americana & More
Frank Yantorno is an experienced instrumentalist/singer and Guilford resident. His repertoire covers a wide variety of genres and artists, and he enjoys connecting with audiences and taking requests. Remy Adair is an 11-year-old singer/songwriter/piano player who has been creating and performing since the age of 7! She is excited for the world to hear her songs and to play for her town!

Patrick Gazda is a local folk, bluegrass, and old-time guitarist, singer, mandolin player, and harmonica player who performs historical sets that reflect the rich history and traditions of American acoustic music.
